European Focus Private Tours (EFPT) is a division of European Focus, Inc. owned and operated by James Derheim, President of European Focus, Inc., 508 Pineapple Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236. EFPT reserves the right to decline tours to people who do not meet the established private tour criteria. A limited number of tours are given per year.

Requirements
EFPT is not equipped to handle people who must use wheelchairs or walkers.

All travelers must have health insurance that covers them in Europe. I suggest that you check with your personal physician regarding your intention to pursue international travel. I recommend that you do this not more than 60 and not less than 30 days prior to beginning your tour. Check with your insurance company prior to making your booking (most policies include foreign travel). Copies of insurance documents or a letter from your agent proving that you have insurance that covers hospitalization in Germany or the country that we are traveling in should be brought to Europe. Trip cancellation or interruption insurance is mandatory, in case you become ill and have to return to America during your tour.

Special diet needs must be made clear before you make this trip so that I can prepare to accommodate those needs.

President of European Focus, Inc. and tour operator James Derheim is not responsible for any injury due to your personal neglect, accident or natural disasters not the fault of James Derheim during your tour. This tour constitutes a private arrangement between the tour goer and James Derheim.

Payments Policy
A deposit of $1,000 per person holds your dates. This deposit is usually paid at the time that a contract is returned, which normally takes place within three weeks of your submission of your Tour Application. You are not obligated to anything just for submitting a tour application. However, within 2 weeks after that application is received, you will have had time to look at my "First Draft" of your tour itinerary. A decision would be expected within a maximum period of three weeks after this "First Draft" is submitted.

Full payment for your tour is due no less than 45 days prior to your departure, with a 1/3 down payment for the total cost of the tour due about 90 days before the start of your tour.

Tour slots are booked on a first come, first served basis. Space will be held as a courtesy for a maximum of 21 days after a "First Draft" of a tour itinerary is submitted to you. You have first choice on the dates that are open, or the dates that you select for your tour. After 21 days, if you have not made a deposit, those dates go back into my available section for others to take.

Cancellations Policy
Cancellations with a full refund of your deposit due to ill health or other reasons will be accepted only up to 30 days after you book your tour. A tour is considered booked on the day your signed contract and liability waiver arrives in this office.

Trip cancellation or interruption insurance is mandatory. This insurance protects your investment in case you get sick or have to cancel your tour for other reasons. Ask for more information on Travel Guard trip insurance. These policies are inexpensive and worth every dollar.

Cancellations made after you return your contract or after the initial 30 day window past booking expires  will require forfeiture of 100% of your tour payments, even those payments scheduled to be made in the future. No refunds made during the tour, although special considerations will be made in the event of a promised part of your tour not being available due to last minute changes in local operating hours and visiting hours. Adding another person to your tour within the 30 day window before your tour begins will incur a $500.00 booking service charge to be added to that person's tour price.

Your satisfaction with your private tour is vital to the continuing success of EFPT. All effort will be made to make sure each member of the tour is satisfied with their experience. A complete, detailed itinerary will be provided to you along with an invoice for your tour total cost approximately 30 days after you return this application. An updated list of tour dates available will also be provided at that time.

Extra copies of the tour packet including all pages presented here can be ordered for sharing with family members who do not have access to e-mail or the internet.
