Eunice Spackman
Eunice Spackman gets help deciphering old church records in her ancestral town of Kirchscheidungen, Germany in August, 2001.
How far ahead should we book our tour?
Most tours are booked from six to nine months in advance. However, I recommend a year if you want your pick of dates.

How many people are on a tour, and what about kids?
That’s up to you. This is your tour. I never mix and match strangers. I have done tours for singles, couples and small family groups. The maximum number of people is 10, which would be handled in two groups. My wife Jenean would drive the other vehicle.

Is there a more economical time of the year to tour than others? What months do you offer tours?
Tours are offered from April through October. Check availability for 2007. April and early May and the the last half of the month of October are the times when your tour can be priced the most economically. My high season rates are in effect from mid-May through the end of September because this is the time when more people desire tours, the weather is generally better and hotels raise their prices accordingly. These are all facts I must take into consideration when providing a price for your individualized tour.

Do you offer organized itinerary tours?
Yes. You can find out more by checking out this page for the My Favorite Places in Europe Tour. We also can put together educational tours, tours focusing on a specific person or event (such as Martin Luther sites) and so on. There are practically no limits to what we can do.

What does a private tour cost?
It depends on your group size and your needs. I do have some fixed price organized tours that you may choose from. If you want to design your own tour, fill out a Genealogy Tour Application or a Pleasure Tour Application and I’ll provide you with a no-strings estimate.

Can we drink beer or wine while on one of your private tours and are drinks included with our tour price?
Drinks are included with your tour price up to a reasonable limit. I enjoy a beer or glass of wine as much as anyone. (Conscientious about your safety, I never drink alcohol if I have to drive you somewhere after the meal) You can learn more about your Trip Captain here.

What are the tour regulations and rules?
You can print my regulations by going to this page.
