Our Most Popular Deutschland Adventure
Two nights in historic Heidelberg, a visit to a fascinating castle in Erbach buried deep in the Odenwald Forest with a night in Germany’s oldest hotel, located in enchanting Miltenberg am Main. We then stay three nights in medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber where you can learn about life in the middle ages with the famous “Night Watchman.” Wander the narrow lanes, walk the wall and eat in a place named for a destination where we all hope not to end up some day. (More on this later!) We travel down the The Romantic Road for two nights near King Ludwig’s Castles where we delve into the mind of “The Fairy Tale” King Ludwig the II. 
Wander through Germany’s oldest castle at Meersburg and stroll along the shores of the Bodensee before two nights surrounded by The Black Forest where we savor authentic Black Forest cooking with a Mediterranean flair. Two nights surrounded by the many castles and quaint villages of the Rhein River along with perfectly-preserved Burg Eltz and the peaceful Mosel River Valley wrap up this 13-day adventure with return to America on the 14th day.
